Your family photoshoot will begin having a chat with Craig on the phone or at your home. Craig is an experienced family photographer and will help you decide what you’re looking for from the photoshoot and will tailor the session to best suit your needs. Craig will discuss and arrange with you where would be a suitable location and time to meet for the photoshoot. He is more than happy to go on one of your favourite walks/locations or can make a few suggestions. If the elements outside are not looking good and you’re not interested in getting drenched, Craig will just rearrange with you for another day. The photo shoot will last around 1 to 2 hours but there is no time scale, so you don’t feel rushed and the shoot takes part in a stress-free environment.

Meeting at the photoshoot Craig will take some time to meet all the family and help relax everyone and get the children on his side, he wants to make the photoshoot memorable for all the right reasons. After the photo shoot Craig will professionally edit and re-touch your images and prepare them for your viewing day. The viewing of your images will be around 2 weeks after the shoot and this will be in the comfort of your own home. Craig will assist you in choosing your favourite images and any art works/frames to show case your bespoke pictures. Often families or pet owners may also wish to have their photograph taken with their pets, bringing on the greatest challenge of all, “children and animals”.

How much does a family photoshoot cost?
There are no hidden costs.
You will discuss with Craig what you are looking for from the photoshoot and can create a Pinterest board to give each other ideas.
To confirm your photoshoot there is a session fee of £50 that is payable in advance. This confirms you’re photoshoot on an agreed date and location.
You then have two (uncomplicated) options for the type of package you are looking for.
The costs for the downloadable images are:
Family Collection 1 – £200 – 10 High resolution images – additional images £25
Family Collection 2 – £300 – All images from the photoshoot (downloaded in high resolution)
After Craig has edited your images, he will provide an online gallery for you to view and choose your images at your own leisure around 2 weeks after your photoshoot.
Once you have chosen your images Craig can assist you in choosing wall art to show case your photos. He will provide example products to choose from the award-winning UK printers he exclusively uses that are based in Scotland for all his work, prints, photo albums and framed wall art. Prices start from £150 for a 20×16 framed print.
To add prints to your digital package, prices start from £95 from what you will receive ten 7×5 Giclee fine art prints. Craig uses this type of paper as it retains its complexion on the archival paper to ensure its longevity and add distinction and style to the final product.
